Hey guys here is a great and easy alternative to pushing and pulling files from your X10. If your like and uncomfortable with lines and lines of code then is this a must. Its called X10 Mod Tool. Below are pics of it in action, and also another method of pushing framework files.
How to Use
-Okay so lets say that you want to mod your framwork-res.apk file, like the one from here.
-First you will need to setup your files. In the X10Mod... folder copy and paste the file that you want to push in X10ModTool_v0.4.2\files
-Now connect your phone in USB Debugging Mode
-Also try to keep your phone screen on the whole time
-Now open X10ModTool.jar
-Now select the framework file in the "Your Files Here" box.
-Then in the right box navigate to /system/framework/ and select the framework-res.apk file
--IF you want to back up hit Pull. The backup of the files will be located in X10ModTool_v0.4.2\backup\files
-If you want to change the file then hit push
-After a few seconds you should get a dial box and your file will be pushed and your phone will reboot
